What is a Shednet House?
A Shednet House is essentially a structure that utilizes a woven net to allow sunlight, air, and moisture, creating a favorable micro-climate for plant growth. It protects crops from adverse weather conditions, pests, and other natural hazards, making year-round production possible. It’s commonly referred to as a net house.
Main Benefits of the Scheme
- Financial assistance for Shednet House of up to 4000 square meters.
- A subsidy of 50% for general category farmers.
- A subsidy of 70% for small, marginal, and SC/ST farmers.
- Additionally, farmers from small, marginal, and tribal areas will receive an extra 25% subsidy as per the Chief Minister’s budget announcement.
- The subsidy amount will be directly credited to the farmer’s bank account or to the firm upon the farmer’s consent.

- Visit the official website of the Agriculture Department.
- Click on the “Register” option.
- Once on the SSO page, select the Citizen option.
- Log in using Jan Aadhaar or Google:
- Jan Aadhaar: Enter your number, verify via OTP, and complete your profile.
- Google: Enter your Gmail ID and password, create a new SSO ID, and complete registration with your mobile number.
- Finally, click on “Submit.”

- Click on the “RAJ-KISAN” tab.
- In the “Farmer” section, proceed to “Application Entry Request.”
- Enter your Bhama Shah ID or Jan Aadhaar ID and search.
