On April 16, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer the 23rd installment worth over ₹1552 crore into the bank accounts of about 1.26 crore women, popularly called “Ladli Behnas.” The funds are expected to reflect in accounts by 3 PM on the same day.
Key Benefits and Financial Support under Ladli Behna Yojana
This scheme was launched by the state government in May 2023 to support married women between the ages of 21 and 60. Initially, beneficiaries were given ₹1000 each month, which was later increased to ₹1250 per month starting August 2023, further raising the annual aid to ₹15,000 per woman.
Besides this, on April 16, the Chief Minister will also provide ₹337 crore towards social security pensions for over 56 lakh beneficiaries. Additionally, over 25 lakh women will receive ₹57 crore for LPG cylinder refills directly into their accounts through a single-click process.

Since its first disbursement on June 10, 2023, which benefited about 1.29 crore women with approximately ₹1576 crore, Ladli Behna Yojana has made a continuous impact with monthly installments. So far, the government has disbursed more than ₹33,000 crore to uplift women financially and support their basic needs.
The scheme has become a symbol of women’s empowerment in Madhya Pradesh, reflecting the government’s commitment through repeated transfers under Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s leadership. The 23rd installment marks the 16th monthly transfer since January 2024.
