Andhra Pradesh government has announced the disbursal of the second installment under the Talliki Vandanam Scheme, also known as Mothers Salute Scheme, aimed at supporting mothers of students. This payment is a part of the Super Six welfare schemes and was credited on the 10th of this month. If you are a mother of a student studying in recognized educational institutions, it’s important to check if your name appears in the updated beneficiary list.
About Talliki Vandanam Scheme in Andhra Pradesh
This cash support scheme provides Rs. 13,000 directly to mothers of students to assist with education-related expenses. Earlier, the first installment was paid on June 12, but some beneficiaries missed the payment due to various reasons, including new admissions in 1st Class and Intermediate 1st Year. The government has reopened applications for those who did not receive funds in the first phase and prepared fresh lists of eligible mothers.

Now, the second installment covers payments for 9.51 lakh mothers of students studying in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, CBSE, as well as Mangala schools, 1st Class, and Intermediate 1st Year students. This includes around 1.34 lakh newly verified eligible beneficiaries and 7,84,874 mothers who missed the first payment due to application or verification delays. The government has addressed complaints through village and ward secretariats sessions.
How to Check Talliki Vandanam Scheme Beneficiary Status & Application
You can check your eligibility and payment status through the official website at https://gsws-nbm.ap.gov.in/. Follow these steps to verify your status:
- Visit the website and click on Application Status Check.
- Select the Mother’s Greeting scheme.
- Choose the financial year 2025-26.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and the shown captcha code.
- Click on Get OTP to receive a one-time password on your linked mobile number.
- Enter the OTP and submit the details.
- You will then be able to see your application status and payment details.
Additionally, the lists of eligible mothers for each school have been made available on the Teachers’ Leap app for transparency and easy access by educators and administrators.
Important Tips for Beneficiaries
- If you have not received the payment yet, ensure your bank account is linked to Aadhaar via NPCI to allow hassle-free transfer.
- If you do not have a bank account, you can open a post office account and link it with your Aadhaar number.
- Mothers of SC students currently in Intermediate First Year are specifically advised to check their status and link their accounts for the upcoming payment.
Additional Government Activities on Payment Date
On the day of the second installment payment, the government will also conduct a Parents and Teachers Meeting (PTM) in all government schools and junior colleges across Andhra Pradesh. This coordination aims to promote better communication between parents and educational institutions and ensure smooth distribution of Talliki Vandanam benefits.
