In Rajasthan, the annual Lakshmi Fair at Khatu Shyam has begun, attracting large crowds. To facilitate easier travel for pilgrims from Haryana, the Haryana Roadways has initiated special bus services to Khatu Shyam, thus simplifying the journey for thousands of devotees aiming to visit Baba Shyam.
The fair takes place in the Siikar district of Rajasthan, with this year’s event scheduled from March 8 through March 10. Many pilgrims traveling to the fair will come from various cities in Haryana, including Rewari, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Sonepat, Panipat, Gurugram, and Faridabad, as well as from Delhi.
Bus Timings and Routes
The first regular bus will depart at 8:30 AM followed by the commencement of special buses at 9:30 AM, with operations continuing until 7:30 PM. Services will cover a route passing through areas like Nizampur, Patan, Neemkathana, Khandeela, and Palasana until reaching Khatu Dham. Reports suggest that buses will run every half hour to ensure timely travel for devotees.
