As the state entered March, officials announced that both the 8th and 9th installments would be processed together. There is anticipation in the community regarding an increase in the assistance amount from ₹1,500 to ₹2,100 as promised during election campaigns. However, according to recent reports, this increase will not occur in the current budget year. Approximately 25.3 million women currently benefit from the scheme, with expectations of payment adjustments post-evaluation of economic conditions. For the time being, beneficiaries can look forward to a direct transfer of ₹3,000 into their accounts for the February and March payments combined.
