Ladki Bahin Yojana 9th Installment Date

This women’s empowerment scheme was launched in July 2024, providing eligible women in Maharashtra with ₹1,500 every month. As the state entered March, officials announced that both the 8th and 9th installments would be processed together. According to Aditi S Tatakare, a government representative, payments are slated to commence from March 7, 2025.   • Families paying income tax are not eligible.
  • Women whose family members are government employees or pensioners cannot apply.
  • No family member should have served as an MP or MLA.
  • Families owning a four-wheel drive vehicle (excluding tractors) are excluded.
  • Members in a government body exclude women from the scheme.
  • If you are receiving benefits of ₹1,500 or more from other schemes, you cannot apply.

Future of Ladki Bahin Yojana Payments

There is anticipation in the community regarding an increase in the assistance amount from ₹1,500 to ₹2,100 as promised during election campaigns. However, according to recent reports, this increase will not occur in the current budget year. Approximately 25.3 million women currently benefit from the scheme, with expectations of payment adjustments post-evaluation of economic conditions. For the time being, beneficiaries can look forward to a direct transfer of ₹3,000 into their accounts for the February and March payments combined.
