Big Update: Ladli Behna Yojana 24th Installment May 2025 Date set for 1.27 Crore Sisters

Madhya Pradesh’s Mohan government has released ₹1250, the 23rd installment, into the accounts of crores of Ladli Behna beneficiaries. 1.27 crore Ladli sisters of the state will get its benefit. Now the 24th installment of Ladli Behna Yojana will be released in May.

There is an update for crores of Ladli sisters. On April 16, CM Dr. Yadav has released ₹1552.38 crore, the 23rd installment, into the accounts of 1 crore 27 lakh sisters of the state. Under this, ₹1250 has been sent to each beneficiary’s account. Apart from this, ₹57 crore has also been sent to the accounts of more than 25 lakh sisters for cylinder refilling.

So far, more than ₹36 thousand 500 crore has been provided to Ladli sisters by the government. Now the 24th installment of the scheme will be released in May. Keep in mind that the next installment will come around the 15th of the month because the state government has decided to bring uniformity in the date of transfer, it will transfer the amount into the accounts of the sisters around the 15th of every month. This is the reason why this time the April installment has been released on the 16th.

Ladli Behna Yojana: ₹1250 is received every month

• Ladli Behna Yojana was started in May 2023 by the previous Shivraj Singh Chouhan government. The main objective of Ladli Behna Yojana is to make the women of Madhya Pradesh financially empowered and to improve their lives.
• Under this scheme, it was decided to give ₹1000 to married women between the ages of 21 to 60 years and then its first installment was released on June 10.
• After this, the amount was increased to ₹1250 on Raksha Bandhan 2023.
• Now under this scheme, women get ₹15,000 annually at the rate of ₹1250 per month.
• A total of 23 installments of monthly financial assistance amount have been transferred to Ladli sisters from June 2023 to April 2025.
• In addition, a special financial assistance of ₹250 has also been transferred to the beneficiary women in the month of August 2023 and 2024 (total 2 times).

Ladli Behna Yojana: Age / Eligibility / Rules

• In this scheme, all married women (including widows, divorcees and abandoned women), who are native residents of Madhya Pradesh, born after January 1, 1963 but before January 1, 2000, are considered eligible to apply in 2023.
• Women themselves or no one in their family should be a taxpayer. The annual income of the family should be ₹2.5 lakh.
• If it is a joint family, then there should not be more than 5 acres of land, no person in the family should be in government job, there should be no tractor, four wheeler vehicle at home.
• If a woman is less than 60 years of age and is already receiving less than ₹1250 per month under any other social security pension scheme, then that woman will also be given an amount up to ₹1250.
• Married women include widows and divorced women. The applicant should have completed 21 years of age as on January 1 of the year in which the application is made and the maximum age should be less than 60 years.
• Women from families where a family member is a current or former Member of Parliament, MLA or is taking advantage of any government position will also not be eligible for the Ladli Behna Yojana.
• If the woman’s husband does not have the eligibility to get benefits under the government scheme, then she will also not be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.

• Visit the official website of Ladli Behna https://cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in/
• On the main page of the website, click on the option “Application and Payment Status“.
• After reaching the second page, enter your application number or member Samagra ID.
• After submitting the captcha code, an OTP will be sent to the mobile.
• Enter the OTP received on the mobile number and verify.
• After verifying the OTP, click on the “Search” option and your payment status will open.
