Welfare and relief for fishermen during lean seasons and natural calamities

Puducherry government increases financial assistance for fishermen during the fishing ban period, raising relief from ₹6,500 to ₹8,000 per family under the Welfare and relief for fishermen during lean seasons and natural calamities scheme. Around 2,000 families will benefit.
