Including Left Out Women Beneficiaries under Subhadra Yojana
For Raksha Bandhan, the Odisha government plans to give out the third installment of the Subhadra Yojana, now including the 1.88 lakh women who missed out last time. This update was shared by Deputy CM Pravati Parida, highlighting the government’s focus on being inclusive and reaching out to all.
Gathering Feedback from 22,000 Women
To make sure the scheme is carried out well, the government carried out a large review. Feedback was collected from about 22,000 women beneficiaries across Odisha. This effort is supported by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur and the Department of Women and Child Development (W&CD).
Also, National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and other social groups have played an important role in gathering accurate information from the ground. This detailed review will help find and fix any issues that caused women to be left out of earlier installments.
