If you are a resident of Jharkhand and are unaware of the Sarvjan Pension Yojana (Sarvjan Pension Yojana) being run by state government, today we are going to tell you about this scheme. Under Sarvjan Pension Yojana run by state government, government provides financial assistance of ₹1,000 per month to needy people. This scheme was started in year 2021.
What is Jharkhand’s Sarvjan Pension Yojana?
Government of Jharkhand had started Sarvjan Pension Yojana to provide financial assistance to needy people of state. Under this scheme, pension of ₹1000 per month is given by government to people of various sections. Amount of scheme is transferred to beneficiary’s bank account on 5th of month.
Who Can Avail Sarvjan Pension Yojana Benefits?
Benefits of scheme are mainly available to people of 4 sections.
- Elderly people of 60 years or more get its benefit.
- Destitute women/widows of 18 years or more or
- Differently-abled people of 5 years or more or
- HIV/AIDS patients get benefit of this scheme.
Documents Required for Sarvjan Pension Yojana
If you are eligible for this scheme, you must have following documents for it:
- Aadhar card
- Age proof certificate
- Voter ID card
- Death certificate of husband for widows
- Disability certificate for disabled people
- Medical certificate for HIV/AIDS patients receiving ART/ARD.
How to Apply for Sarvjan Pension Yojana
If you have all these documents, you have to first obtain application form from Block Development Officer or Circle Officer’s office.
After this, fill information asked in application form. After that, attach required documents with application form. After attaching documents, now submit your application to Block Development Officer in rural area and to Circle Officer in urban area.
If you want to apply online, you have to register yourself by visiting JharSeva portal for this. You can also apply for this scheme through your nearest CSC or Public Facilitation Center.
